Aurum Cables 3.5mm Car Stereo Auxiliary Male to Male (Aux-in) Input Cable (6ft.) Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I use these cables to connect my laptop to my TV's audio jack. In the past I had to use an extension on a pair of dirt cheap cables. Somehow the use of an extension worsened the already average quality of the audio and it sounded as if everything was coming out of a tin can. With these cables I really hear the audio as it was meant to be heard. Immediately the differences were very apparant.
I was listening to a Persian singer I quite enjoy called Farhad Mehrad and his gentle but giant voice has a booming bass to it. With the old cables I could hardly perceive the depth of his singing and it was as if I was listening to YouTube audio quality. These cables enhanced the nuances of his style so amazingly well. It felt as though he was in the room with me and I could feel his words hitting my lungs.
There is hardly any hint of distortion, though I do notice some slight hissing when I turn the volume on my TV to 60+. This most likely has nothing to do with the cables themselves because I do not notice the hissing when plugging this cable to the speakers for my Ipod and turning it to maximum volume. Other than that, the experience has been wonderful and it is well worth to pay a little more for the type of quality these cables deliver.
