(More customer reviews)I Have been using the 5070-2584 ir receiver (and the blaster cable 5188-6055) with my HP notebook. It's great. Just follow the windows media center setup instructions and you'll have a dvr. It works with any provider's settop box. I have Directv. The photo doesn't show the blaster cable (emitter cable that goes to the settop box infra-red window). And the receiver is pretty generic. It's used on a huge number of products, so ignore the Picasso reference.
