(More customer reviews)Easy install if you are a little bit mechanically/electrically inclined. Took me 45 minutes to mount and wire it, but i didn't have to remove my headliner, so some installs may be a bit more tricky. Stereo shop wanted $400 for install, so i'm glad i did it myself. As for the quality, it is simple in design, but the video looks great. I use my car stereo speakers, so i haven't tried out the IR feature for headphones, but i plan on getting a set of headphones in the near future. Keep in mind this is not a DVD player, only a monitor. I have an in dash DVD player with video output to this screen. For the price of this unit, it gets all 5 stars.

(More customer reviews)I bought the PYLE 19in Monitor/DVD combo to keep my kids entertained on long road trips. After we had it installed we found out the monitor didn't work so we sent it back ($50+ shipping we had to pay for) and got a new one. Got the 2nd one installed only to find out the DVD player wouldn't read any discs and put nasty scratches on the discs that we tried to play. My husband and I and the installation tech tried to contact PYLE several times and got no answer and no return calls or email responses so we returned the 2nd one (again, another $50+ in shipping we had to pay for). Don't waste your money or your time with this product - it's a piece of junk! And after their lack of support, we'll never buy another PYLE product again.
