(More customer reviews)Easy install if you are a little bit mechanically/electrically inclined. Took me 45 minutes to mount and wire it, but i didn't have to remove my headliner, so some installs may be a bit more tricky. Stereo shop wanted $400 for install, so i'm glad i did it myself. As for the quality, it is simple in design, but the video looks great. I use my car stereo speakers, so i haven't tried out the IR feature for headphones, but i plan on getting a set of headphones in the near future. Keep in mind this is not a DVD player, only a monitor. I have an in dash DVD player with video output to this screen. For the price of this unit, it gets all 5 stars.

(More customer reviews)The monitor is used in the van. It's large so we can play games and such, but doesn't seem sturdily built. I expected something a little more solid, but I anticipate it will last about 2 or 3 years and in that time frame the van will be replace.

(More customer reviews)Was very happy to get this so quickly. I had a different model installed earlier by a professional when we got our car (it had the ability to watch TV, but was not hooked up). Anyway, the screen was broken at the hinge and I was waiting for a replacement part. Well the part was on back order, so finally I just ordered another model. It was cheaper to get the one w/o the TV, so I did. This was so easy to install and it works great! Our kids enjoy watching movies again!

They told me they would have to repair & not replace the unit. I still have not gotten it back. I constantly get the run-around from Sound Around, Brooklyn. I will never purchase online again!

After we had it installed we found out the monitor didn't work so we sent it back ($50+ shipping we had to pay for) and got a new one. Got the 2nd one installed only to find out the DVD player wouldn't read any discs and put nasty scratches on the discs that we tried to play. My husband and I and the installation tech tried to contact PYLE several times and got no answer and no return calls or email responses so we returned the 2nd one (again, another $50+ in shipping we had to pay for). Don't waste your money or your time with this product - it's a piece of junk! And after their lack of support, we'll never buy another PYLE product again.

(More customer reviews)Bad Amazon experience with this purchase. The unit worked for one day, but the polarity was reversed. It was provided by this seller as new, but it was used. Scratches on plastic pieces, and they should have cleaned the sneeze splatter off of the display prior to applying the "this should make you think it's new" protective plastic coating. Incredible. Don't get taken for over $100 like I did. Buy anything else anywhere else some other way, and you'll be better off than buying this unit from this seller on amazon.
