I just finished up an install with the Vanco SVGA Balun, and all I can say is wow. It is far cheaper than the competition, and is installed easily using Cat5E cable. Also you have your choice of using shielded, or unshielded Cat5E cable!!

The S-VGA Wall Plate Extender allows VGA signals to be transmitted up to 443 feet using category 5e cable for zero signal loss. Category 5e cable is recommended for voice and data communication, and is ideal for high demand data applications, commercial or residential wiring. The data rate is 1000 Mb/s, voice and data, and the wires are twisted every 3/8" while each wire has a 24 gauge solid copper center. The usable bandwidth of Category 5e cable can be as high as 250 MHz, and is rated for full duplex data transfer. This wall plate extender is ideal for classroom video distribution, lecture halls, overhead projector systems and tradeshows. It is wall mountable for a neat and clean installation. The signal transmission supports up to 197 feet with resolution 1280x1024, 246 feet with resolution 1024x768, 344 feet with resolution 800x600, and 443 feet with resolution 640x480.
