With the D940, I can control my DSS receiver from any room I need. I'm glad the response time is extremely quick when using this system. It is just like having the DSS receiver right in the room. The units do a great job picking up the signal from the remote, even from a fairly sharp range of angles. An added bonus: This works with nearly any remote audio/video equipment.
