(More customer reviews)I was ecstatic to discover that these headphones are fully compatible with the IR transmitter that came (from AMAZON) with my "Able Planet Sound Clarity Infrared Headphone with Single Source Transmitter". These headphones are lighter and more comfortable (in my biased opinion, as always) than AblePlanet's headphones. Though these are not foldable. First time I got three pairs - one didn't work at all. Returned this one. Ordered two more - work OK. Using these *at home* primarily for watching DVD/HD/BluRay. NOT audiophile quality but good enough (my standards for sound quality are fairly high but I am not an audiophile). See my other review for PlanetAble's transmitter for some more info. Have no idea how good/bad these headphones would be for your car.
